Tigerpaw CEO Returns as Certified CEDIA Instructor

BELLEVUE, Neb., (August 20, 2008) - Tigerpaw Software, Inc., (www.tigerpawsoftware.com), a leading developer of business automation and service management software, announced today that its CEO, Dave Foxall, will once again serve as a CEDIA (Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association) Certified Instructor (CCI) for CEDIA University by special invitation.

CEDIA University offers industry-specific education to custom electronic systems integrators. It specializes in providing best practices, information, and skills for every employee - from technicians to salespeople and c-level executives - in a residential electronic systems company.

For a second consecutive year, Foxall has been selected as a subject matter expert for the course "Using CRM to Attract and Retain Customers," part of Electronic Systems Customer Relations, one of five curricula offered by the university. The course outlines principles and methodology for choosing a CRM tool, using CRM to support customers, and using CRM to up-sell and cross-sell. Additionally, this course helps participants identify how using CRM tools increase competitive advantages, and determine which CRM features support specific business needs and goals.

CEDIA certified professionals are a select group. They are proven experts who are committed to a higher standard of education. Dave’s knowledge and experience in the field of CRM will be an extremely valuable asset to the CEDIA curriculum, and to the custom electronics professionals served.

Foxall emerged as an innovative force in the field of CRM and business management applications in 1984, when he founded Information Management Consultants (IMC), which helped evaluate, select, and implement systems for leading sales-and-service businesses. Foxall later formed Tigerpaw Software, Inc. - an outgrowth of IMC - to develop and market specialized business management software solutions. Under his direction, the company has earned a reputation for cutting-edge, user-friendly applications that have won numerous industry awards.

"I am excited to again play a part in CEDIA University, a highly respected institution that has proven invaluable to the systems integration industry," Foxall said. "It’s an ideal opportunity for me to share a vast amount of experience and insights on CRM and business management best practices. These are subjects that are very near and dear to me."

CEDIA University courses are regarded as the industry standard for education, completion of which provides a pathway to CEDIA certification.

CEDIA is an international trade association of companies that specialize in designing and installing electronic systems for the home. CEDIA, a not-for-profit association based in Indianapolis, was founded in September 1989 and has more than 3,000 member companies worldwide.
